Why stay in a villa and not a hotel?

Disney hotels can be very expensive, for less than the price of one hotel room you can have use of this luxury villa with your own private pool, full equipped kitchen, game room, laundry room and everything you have at your own home. Our villa is superbly equipped to make your holiday unforgettable.


Where do we pick up the key?

There is a lock box in front of the door. You will be given the code to retrieve the key. Arriving late? Not a problem. You can check in any time you want, there is no need to find the office to pick up the key.  


What if we have a problem with the villa while we are there?

We have a locally based management company that will sort out any problems that may arise. They also have a 24 hour emergency number. The management company details will be sent along with lock box code and all other access details before you leave for Florida.


What do we need to bring with us?

Our villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard to make it a home from home. All bedding, pillows and towels are provided with the exception of large pool towels which you will need to provide. We have a washing machine and tumble dryer for your use so no need to take dirty washing home; we even have an iron and ironing board at your disposal; we provide hair dryers in the bathrooms too. If you have any questions regarding what you need to bring please don't hesitate to contact us.


When is pool heat required?

 If you are staying in the villa between October and May and intend to use the pool, then take the heater option as during this time the pool water can be quite cold. If you haven't taken the pool heat option but decide on arrival that you want it please contact the management company as soon as possible. In this event we cannot guarantee that the heat will be turned on on the same day as your request.

Is a maid service included?

The villa is rented on a self catering basis. The villa is cleaned before your arrival and again on your departure. For your convenience and hygiene the villa is equipped with a vacuum cleaner, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, mop, brushes etc. If you would like a mid term clean during your stay this can be arranged at an additional cost.

Do I need a rental car?

Yes!! To get the most out of Orlando a car is a must. It is very easy to drive in Florida and the roads are well sign posted. Make sure that you hire a car that is big enough for you and all your luggage.


Do I need travel insurance?

Yes!! As with all holidays / vacations we strongly advise you get full travel / medical / cancellation insurance.


Does the villa have its own phone?

The villa does have a phone, and local calls and long distance calls to anywhere in the US and Canada are free. The phone will also take incoming calls and you will be given the villa phone number before you travel so family can call you if you wish.

    In addition to the facilities offered by the individual properties, Terra Verde Resort offers a Clubhouse with reception, fitness center, internet facilities, games room and meeting room. Also a landscaped, free form pool with Spa and Tiki Bar. Basket and Netball courts exist together with all weather table tennis and a children's play area.     Terra Verde Resort is a gated community with Guest and Owner vehicle access controlled via an electronic card system. In addition, gate staff maintain the gates 24hrs. a day. The resort also utilizes a camera surveillance security system.

    Terra Verde Resort is less than 5 minutes from the nearest Supermarket (Wal*Mart) and other shops & Restaurants on the US192.

    Whilst nothing is 100% secure on the internet, by using the inquiry form on this site, you will be dealing directly with the home owners, all of which are registered with the Terra Verde homeowner's association. It is in the best interests of the Owners and their Association, that guests have the best possible experience with their stay at Terra Verde Resort.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    Due to the fact that all properties are privately owned at Terra Verde Resort, check-in and check-out times are determined by individual owners. However, as general rule, check-in times is normally 4.00pm and check-out times is 10.00am. Of course, one of the advantages of dealing directly with an owner, is the fact that any specific requests regarding timings (or indeed any other issue) can be discussed directly with the home owner

  • If I experience problems whilst visiting, whom do I contact?
    All owners employ a local, 3rd. party management company of their own choosing, who, in the absense of the owner, look after the day to day maintenance of an owner's property. Should a guest experience any issues regarding individual vacation homes, they should contact either the owner or the owner's management company. The Terra Verde Resort reception maintain a list of owner's management companies and would be able to advise. Any issue regarding the general Resort, should be addressed to the Resort Manager and his staff, whose office is located in the clubhouse
